Executive Director

Melanie Debassige, MBA, ICD.D, member of the Anishinabek Nation, was appointed as the Executive Director of the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) in February 2018.  Melanie is the first woman to be appointed in this role in the twenty-five-year history of the organization. She serves as a Director on the Mother Earth Renewable Energy Board that oversees the for-profit wind turbine corporation that is owned by M’Chigeeng First Nation.  

Melanie was appointed to the Ontario Clean Water Agency Board of Directors, in October 2013, where she serves as Chairperson of the mandated First Nations Committee.  In March 2018, she was appointed to the Board of Reconciliation Canada where she holds the position of Director/Treasure. She completed the Director’s Education Program at the Rotman School of Management and is a certified corporate director which complements her Master’s in Business Administration.  Melanie has been recognized by the Canadian Board Diversity Council in the Diversity 50 and she has recently undertaken the role as Strategic Advisor, Indigenous, to the National Energy Board of Canada.

Glen Goodman, member of Animbiigoo Zaagi’igan Anishanaabek First Nation, is the Director of Operations.
As Director of Engineering and Infrastructure Services Drew has extensive technical experience across a number of industries.
Joe, member of the Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek First Nation, is the Director of Corporate Finance and Administration with the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation.

Justin is currently serving as a Circuit Rider Trainer for the OFNTSC
Cody is currently in the role of HUB Water and Wastewater Process Technician in Engineering & Infrastructure for the OFNTSC
Mandy Bomberry, Mohawk Turtle Clan, is the Finance Officer for the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation.
Lorraine Bova, Mohawk, is the Water and Wastewater Engineer at OFNTSC.
Deneen is OFNTSC's Senior Environmental Scientist, located out of our Thunder Bay Office
Jack Brown is a member of the Kettle & Stony Point First Nation in Southern Ontario. Jack is a Circuit Rider Trainer with the OFNTSC
Dalton Clement is currently an Operator-in-Training with the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation
Marty is currently working for OFNTSC as a HUB Technician with a passion for teaching and using his skills to develop strong relationships with those he works with.
Shayne Dale is the Circuit Rider Trainer Supervisor for the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation
Dean Debassige is the Asset Management Advisor for the OFNTSC. He works closely to support the Operation & Maintenance program activities for First Nations infrastructure assets.
Cassandra is focused on assisting in the day to day admin support that is required to deliver the Emergency Management Planning program services. 
As Project Manager for OFNTSC, Darko thrives in his uniting clients with skilled trades personnel to ensure projects remain on schedule and on budget.
Clayton currently works as an Infrastructure Specialist at the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC), working out of the Thunder Bay office, since September of 2018.
Previous to his position as Water and Wastewater Process HUB Technician he was a CRTP trainer for OFNTSC from January 2008-2020.
Janet is a member of Saugeen First Nation #29 and grew up in the city of London.  She joined the corporation in January 2020 bringing a wealth of experience working in First Nations communities.
Robert currently serves as CMHC Project Administrator for OFNTSC
Amy is currently working at OFNTSC in the engineering department as an engineer in training, mainly focusing on water and wastewater treatment systems.
Tricia Hamilton is the Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer at OFNTSC. Tricia is a licenced Professional Engineer (P. Eng) and has her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Corrie has served as the Executive Assistant for the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) since May 2013.
As the Fire Safety Coordinator/Infrastructure Specialist, Nathan assists the OFNTSC in providing technical advisory to all First Nation communities in the province.
Brandi is currently serving as Human Resources Manager for OFNTSC
Kristen Hill, from Six Nations of the Grand River, has been working in the Finance field for over 5 years.
Madison currently serves as an Asset Management Specialist for OFNTSC
Lucas Hill, Cayuga, is the Digital Marketing Specialist for the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation
Koryn John from Red Rock First Nation is serving as Administrative Receptionist for OFNTSC's Thunder Bay office
Tracey John is the CRTP Coordinator out of the Thunder Bay Office and has been with OFNTSC for over 25 years
Chelsey Johnson is Oneida and a member of the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation. She has been in the position of Communications Manager with the OFNTSC since May 2019.
Mohammed N. Karim, M. Eng, P. Eng., is a CRTP Training Consultant and brings over 35 years of plant operation experience from municipalities and First Nations to his work with OFNTSC.
Clynt is the GIS Administrator for the OFNTSC. His background as an Environmental Technician adds tremendous value to our organization.
Courtney is currently serving as a Water & Wastewater Process Technician for OFNTSC's HUB program.
Elmer is Mohawk and a member of the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation. He has more than 30 years’ experience working directly with First Nations on capital facilities & asset management.
Heidi serves as the Solid Waste Specialist for OFNTSC's Environment service
Kanekaroroks McComber is the Event Coordinator at OFNTSC. She is Mohawk from Kahnawake, Quebec and now resides in Six Nations with her partner and their two daughters.
Richard is currently working as HUB Industrial Electrician in Engineering & Infrastructure
Driven by nature, Adam is keenly dedicated in his role as a HUB Program Supervisor.
Ivan is a HUB Water and Wastewater Process Technician for the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation.
Shane is serving as GIS Technician for OFNTSC
Gerald started working as a Circuit Rider Trainer in 2017 and has been in the water industry since 2004. Gerald currently holds a level 2 Water Treatment License.
Clarence Meekis, Deer Lake First Nation, has worked with the OFNTSC from the Thunder Bay office as an Infrastructure Specialist since 2003.
Clarence is Oji-Cree From Deer Lake First Nation. He is currently serving as an Infrastructure Specialist Intern for the OFNTSC
Juliet is a part of OFNTSC HUB program and is a Water and Wastewater Process Technician.
Noah Paul is a Circuit Rider Trainer for the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation.
Charles is an Infrastructure Specialist at OFNTSC and a member of Atikameksheng Anishnawbek.
Ashley Pitt joined the OFNTSC team as the Human Resources Generalist in July 2021.

Mark Schell is a Bulk Fuel handler for OFNTSC. Mark holds four Technicians Licenses, (Automotive, Truck & Coach, Heavy Equipment, & PMH) and is working towards his 5th certification.
Stacy Smith, Cayuga Wolf, joined the team at OFNTSC in September 2019 in the position of Corporate Project Analyst.
Shakya joined OFNTSC in October 2020 as an Engineer-in-Training, supporting water, wastewater, and other engineering projects from the Brantford office.
