Fire and Safety Program Update
The OFNTSC continues to provide technical advisory support for Fire Safety during this time through conference calls and information shares.
As a Member of the NAN Amber's Fire Safety Working Group has a total of 12 different organizations that participated in this conference call.
At the meeting chaired by NAN all partners in the working groups have equal share prompting "Fire Safety" to all First Nations in the province and beyond.

Current Opportunities
EVENT COORDINATOR (TERM)
The OFNTSC requires the services of an Event Coordinator to assist with all planning aspects of public and private events for the organization on a one-year term contract.
This position involves travel and therefore a valid G-Class Driver’s license is required. Some out-of-town travel including two- or three-day absences is also required.
HUB Instrumental Technician
The OFNTSC requires the services of an Instrumentation Technician to work under the direction of the HUB Supervisor and assist the OFNTSC HUB Services team.
HUB Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright
The OFNTSC requires the services of an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright to assist the OFNTSC HUB Services team.
Civil Engineer
This position will assist the OFNTSC team with various tasks surrounding projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure, roads, drainage, solid waste, housing, and buildings, including schools. as well as project management.
Youth Outreach Coordinator
The Youth Outreach Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Technical Youth Career Outreach Project (TYCOP). The TYCOP program aims to inform First Nations students about the various technical careers that exist and how they can achieve success in these critical areas. We focus on empowering First Nations students and creating a passion for the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, math) through cultural training, workshops, and mentorship.
Circuit Rider Trainer
The Circuit Rider Trainer will be responsible for training First Nation Water Treatment Plant Operators in the operation and maintenance of their community’s water and wastewater infrastructure by providing onsite OFNTSC Certified-Education-Unit (CEU’s) and On-the-Job Training (OJT’s).
