Marty Clement

Marty Clement Received his diploma for Chemical Engineering Technology from Cambrian College of Applied Arts In 1996 and was an Ontario Scholar graduate. Some of his accomplishments are; spending 10 years becoming proficient in operations at Musselwhite Mine where he was on the Mine Rescue Team, Emergency Response Team, attained his Advanced First Aid and was a Joint Health and Safety Co-Chair. He later fell into Water Treatment by taking his wife to take an OIT course in Dryden where he ended up speaking with the instructor and becoming enrolled in the program. He ended up managing the Michipicoten First Nation Conventional water system for 8 years and managed to be recognized by AWWAO as the Water Treatment Operator of the year. Marty previously worked for OFNTSC as a Circuit Rider and in the Yukon as a Circuit Rider and a Chemical Engineering Consultant for Northern Utilities Maintenance. He also taught Water treatment Courses for the Yukon College. He is currently working for OFNTSC as a HUB Technician. Marty has a passion for teaching and uses his skills from traditional learning to develop long lasting relationships with those he comes into contact with.
