As part of the Emergency Management Preparedness (EMP) team, Cassandra is focused on assisting in the day to day admin support that is required to deliver EMP program services. She will be helping to develop and maintain lines of contact and support for our First Nations communities via email, telephone, and web-based platforms.
Cassandra assists with the registration of participants for EMP training sessions, maintains registration lists, rooming lists and requirements, ensures that training materials are organized and shipped to the training sites, completes Travel Claims after training sessions for submission to Finance, logs evaluation reports, and ensures participant databases are complete and updated. From time to time, Cassandra will also travel with the EMP team into First Nation Communities to assist with in-community exercises, and training.
