Angela is an Anishinaabe Ojibwe from the community of Serpent River First Nation, Ontario and is a member of the Sturgeon Clan. She has extensive knowledge and experience building strong Indigenous collaborations in her community and beyond.
Angela has been working in Indigenous organizations for over 15 years. She has extensive business administrative knowledge and proficiency working within Indigenous social service and community economic development which has allowed her to provided executive support to diverse groups with divergent community and business interests. She has assisted leadership teams across organizations to ensure projects are successful and sustainable. Angela brings high level business acumen which enables her to assist executive teams with their goals and project outcomes.
Angela will graduate with a B.A. in Political Science with a certificate in Business Administration from Algoma University and is looking to pursue her MBA in Community Economic Development at Cape Breton University, Nova Scotia.
She resides in Serpent River First Nation, Ontario with her husband and three daughters.
